Isso me maravilha e me impressiona&#8221;, diz.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sua obra \u00e9 carregada de refer\u00eancias das artes sacra, devocional e popular, que fazem parte de sua pesquisa h\u00e1 mais de uma d\u00e9cada, quando uma viagem ao nordeste brasileiro ampliou seus horizontes e rendeu um de seus trabalhos mais marcantes, o Projeto Temporal, em Len\u00e7\u00f3is, Bahia.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>E a extensa pesquisa do paulista de S\u00e3o Bernardo do Campo se desdobra em diferentes n\u00edveis, que v\u00e3o de ex-votos (oferendas de pedido ou agradecimento a santos de todos os tipos) a plantas psicoativas usadas em pr\u00e1ticas ritual\u00edsticas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m de tratar esses temas de forma quase literal, Stephan aprofunda o di\u00e1logo, abrindo espa\u00e7o para diferentes interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es: sua arte pode ser, ao mesmo tempo, uma conex\u00e3o com um plano m\u00edstico e espiritual e uma representa\u00e7\u00e3o de quest\u00f5es mais atuais, como democracia, p\u00f3s-verdade, colonialismo e imperialismo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Se esse tom herm\u00e9tico pode causar certa perplexidade ao espectador mais apressado, para o pr\u00f3prio artista a amplitude de significados n\u00e3o \u00e9 um problema, j\u00e1 que o ponto forte do seu trabalho s\u00e3o os s\u00edmbolos que ele mesmo cria: uma esp\u00e9cie de alfabeto imag\u00e9tico criptografado cuja fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 justamente despertar reflex\u00f5es mais aprofundadas \u2013 e que n\u00e3o levem, necessariamente, para o mesmo lugar. &#8220;Construo meu trabalho a partir de s\u00edmbolos e \u00edcones autorais, \u00e9 como se eles fossem meu vocabul\u00e1rio&#8221;, explica.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Stephan pode ser conferida na exposi\u00e7\u00e3o individual\u00a0<em>Estaremos Aqui Para Sempre<\/em>, na Janaina Torres Galeria (S\u00e3o Paulo), em cartaz at\u00e9 o in\u00edcio de outubro. O fato dessa afirma\u00e7\u00e3o ser o lema oficial da cidade que habitamos \u00e9 oportuno para refletirmos sobre a rigidez de condutas e pensamentos que estamos a reproduzir no intuito de preservar valores que, por vezes, sequer nos perguntamos para que servem.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3 Planets &#8211; Panoptic Wave<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A instala\u00e7\u00e3o multissensorial \u00e9 composta por um videogame, pinturas e anima\u00e7\u00f5es. Isso me maravilha e me impressiona&#8221;, diz.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sua obra \u00e9 carregada de refer\u00eancias das artes sacra, devocional e popular, que fazem parte de sua pesquisa h\u00e1 mais de uma d\u00e9cada, quando uma viagem ao nordeste brasileiro ampliou seus horizontes e rendeu um de seus trabalhos mais marcantes, o Projeto Temporal, em Len\u00e7\u00f3is, Bahia.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>E a extensa pesquisa do paulista de S\u00e3o Bernardo do Campo se desdobra em diferentes n\u00edveis, que v\u00e3o de ex-votos (oferendas de pedido ou agradecimento a santos de todos os tipos) a plantas psicoativas usadas em pr\u00e1ticas ritual\u00edsticas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m de tratar esses temas de forma quase literal, Stephan aprofunda o di\u00e1logo, abrindo espa\u00e7o para diferentes interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es: sua arte pode ser, ao mesmo tempo, uma conex\u00e3o com um plano m\u00edstico e espiritual e uma representa\u00e7\u00e3o de quest\u00f5es mais atuais, como democracia, p\u00f3s-verdade, colonialismo e imperialismo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Se esse tom herm\u00e9tico pode causar certa perplexidade ao espectador mais apressado, para o pr\u00f3prio artista a amplitude de significados n\u00e3o \u00e9 um problema, j\u00e1 que o ponto forte do seu trabalho s\u00e3o os s\u00edmbolos que ele mesmo cria: uma esp\u00e9cie de alfabeto imag\u00e9tico criptografado cuja fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 justamente despertar reflex\u00f5es mais aprofundadas \u2013 e que n\u00e3o levem, necessariamente, para o mesmo lugar. &#8220;Construo meu trabalho a partir de s\u00edmbolos e \u00edcones autorais, \u00e9 como se eles fossem meu vocabul\u00e1rio&#8221;, explica.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Stephan pode ser conferida na exposi\u00e7\u00e3o individual\u00a0<em>Estaremos Aqui Para Sempre<\/em>, na Janaina Torres Galeria (S\u00e3o Paulo), em cartaz at\u00e9 o in\u00edcio de outubro. O fato dessa afirma\u00e7\u00e3o ser o lema oficial da cidade que habitamos \u00e9 oportuno para refletirmos sobre a rigidez de condutas e pensamentos que estamos a reproduzir no intuito de preservar valores que, por vezes, sequer nos perguntamos para que servem.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>3 Planets &#8211; Panoptic Wave<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A instala\u00e7\u00e3o multissensorial \u00e9 composta por um videogame, pinturas e anima\u00e7\u00f5es. A esse trip\u00e9 que tradicionalmente sustenta os valores do establishment agrega-se hoje o sistema educacional. O game 3 Planets \u2013 Panoptic Wave (2016) convida o usu\u00e1rio a se ajoelhar para jogar e o coloca diante de um enredo fict\u00edcio em que a escolariza\u00e7\u00e3o, financiada pelo capitalismo, atende a leis formatadas por um modelo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Segundo o modo de funcionamento b\u00e1sico de um game \u2013 que coloca o usu\u00e1rio na posi\u00e7\u00e3o de mocinho lutando contra vil\u00f5es \u2013, o jogador deve driblar todo tipo de estrat\u00e9gia macabra de manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o intelectual e de cerceamento de sua liberdade de escolha. O projeto de Doitschinoff inclui uma performance, em 4\/4, com a presen\u00e7a de seis m\u00fasicos, entre eles, a cantora Lia Paris.
